I'm trying xbmc on my new htpc
motherboard = dg45id (with all drivers installed from intel website)
proccessor = intel e8400
running windows xp with sp3
4gb memory
1tb hard disk
I can only open xmbc full screen when I select 480p at the screen menu (with all the higher settings xbmc is crashing)
Also when I play a DVD movie from hard disk
my cpu(s) average is arround 5 % (good)
but my FPS are arround 10-15 (very bad)
Is this a known problem? And do one of your xbmc'ers have some sugestions for me? because I think this system should easily playback a dvd movie (tried many different types all have the same problem)
