I'm converting from XBMC on the XBox to XBMC on Linux and I'm having problems setting up the sound. I'm trying to use an onboard VIA 8237 on Ubuntu Hardy Heron 32bits. XBMC is beta 2.
Using spdif I could only get 2 channels in Linux so I switched to the analog outputs and I have surround working in mplayer with this added to the config file:
How do I get this setup to work in XBMC? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
