Scrub Video Info?

I used the auto-scan feature to get movie info from IMDB, but it added incorrect movie information to my home videos (which obviously aren't actually on IMDB)...so is there a way to delete all of the information attached to those files individually?

Manually refesh the movie and pick the right one. In addition to that and to verify its scraping the correct movie on startup scan, you should read the video library / nfo section in our friendly manual (link in my sig).
Always read the online manual (wiki), FAQ (wiki) and search the forum before posting.
Do not PM or e-mail Team-Kodi members directly asking for support. Read/follow the forum rules (wiki).
Please read the pages on troubleshooting (wiki) and bug reporting (wiki) before reporting issues.

You can set content to none to remove your home videos if you want that (granted that they are not on the same source as the regular movies).

You can bring up the context menu on any given library item and remove it.

If you want them in your library, you can set their properties via nfo files.

Realizing this is an old post but when I scanned my dvd folder into the library I scanned my home movies as well (by accident). The library of course tried to assign movie data to the home movies and it got hosed up. I read the wiki about changing the .nfo files but I can't seem to find these files. Looked in the c:/programs/XBMC folder as well as the individual folders for the dvds on the network share. Where would these *.nfo files reside exactly?

Also one of the dvd movies picked up the wrong data from the scraper. I have gotten most of the data out and corrected the thumbnail (with an image I already had) but it still shows the wrong director. Would I edit the *.nfo file for this particular movie to correct that? Thanks.
