I have been searching everywhere for an answer to this before posting it.

I recently bought an Apple TV and have V.2.2 installed, i was able to install XBMC/ Boxee on it. However, i still am not able to use the USB on ATV to connect my external HDD.

Also, i can;t seem to figure out how to install Nito Tv, ATVFiles ?

If you have any solutions i would be grateful.

Thanks for ur reply, i tried that way but i got to the recovery part and put them in my documents but after that im stuck. Is there anything you think im doing wrong?

you dont need recovery dmg if you just want to enable usb.
place combo update 10.4.9 update in ~/Documents and run nitotv smart installer.
