@riegersn, would it be alright if I was so bold as to request that you add EZTV as an additional torrents source for your SceneReleases script?

EZTV is one of the most popular distribution group with its own torrent site for zero-day TV Show episode releases (or at least next day).

Hi all,

First off, to be sure, my questions are probably somewhat noobish, probably because I'm fairly new to the whole XBMC thing so forgive my ignorance if/when it becomes too evident.

I'm looking for a torrent solution and I'd like it to be standalone for XBMC XBOX. I've tried searching around and read a bunch of threads and I'm a little confused as some of what I read seems to conflict.

I've seen many threads (though quite older 2004, '05, '06) that state that XBMC will not support Bittorrent natively. I assume that does not preclude someone doing it in script.

Reigersn has graciously created this script, which I understand to be for XBMC and Boxee. My understanding of this script is that it is only a torrent browser (for lack of a better term) and that it uses either a PC based torrent client or a default, built-in torrent client in Boxee. I don't see any evidence of a similar client in XBMC.

Am I on point so far?

So... Is there a default torrent client in XBMC? if not..
Is there a working/usable torrent client script for XBMC and can I use it w/ this SceneRelease script?

Oh, I should add, that while the software is all to run on Xbox, all storage is on a NAS (smb share).
