Problem with Pictures in XBMC
#1
Question
:confused2:Hello,

I'm running the actual XBMC version on a MacBook (Leopard).

My sources are on a synology NAS. Music and Video is working fine, but I've trouble with the pictures.

When serving the pictures via UPNP I don't get thumbnails and all pictures don't show (just black space where the picture should be).

If I add the source via SMB I get the jpegs but many of them are jolted. Faces are to slim.

Please help me with this.

Thank you

Alfred

What UPnP server is running on this NAS?

Sorry, no idea - for me it's a closed system (inside it is as linux box) but I've got no idea what server software it is. There is just the checkbox in the webinterface saying "enable UPNP..."

I have a Synology 207+ and I have my pictures as a SMB source. I do not get what you mean by "jolted" / Slim Faces. It works OK here.

I have a Synology DS-107 and I've some problem with adding the NAS with UPNP sources.

With video some divx aren't discoved and with photo the files are listed but can't read.

If I use SMB for the NAS shares all is OK.
