IS there a remote to control XBMC that works for both leopard and XP/Vista. I know pinnacle/microsoft MCE remote is the most compatible one for PC. Will it also work under mac?

This may not be quite what you're looking for, but I use a Logitech Harmony 880 (emulating an MCE remote) to talk to an XP box running XBMC and (emulating an Apple remote) to talk to an Apple TV running XBMC and Boxee.

The Apple emulation should work fine on any Leopard or Tiger box that has Apple remote capability (anything shipped in the last couple of years, I think).

agreed. I use a harmony one, although I'm quite sure ANY harmony supports IR learning. So I customized the layout and taught my remote all of the commands I wanted. It works great.
