[LINUX] Enable plugins/scripts after source build?
#1
Okay, I know I'm going to get some very annoyed responses, but I've looked through the forums and I can't figure out how to enable scripts/plugins on a fresh install (compiled from source). Shouldn't there be a few already installed by default?

Nope - there are no (decent) scripts or plugins by default in SVN. They're all located elsewhere.

Grab them from the xbmc-addons google code repository.

Cheers,
Jonathan

My problem was simple confusion. The scripts that came with the SVN build were zipped and I assumed that - much as it can read rar'ed video files - XBMC was able use the zipped scripts directly. Apparently not. In retrospect, I should've tried unzipping them before posting, but in hindsight the answer is always simple. Anyway, thanks for the links.
