Hi everyone,
As you can see by my post-count (1 as of this) I am a completely "n00b" to this scene so please try to be patient with me.
The quick and dirty of where I am:
I applied to the Boxee beta as I'm typically a mac user at home. I got in and liked Boxee--but not its limitations. At the same time, I was playing with XBMC and found I prefered in general. I bought an AppleTV and installed both on it to play around with the concept of a simple HTPC--found that I liked it a lot but the ATV hardware was too limiting. As of yesterday I'm running on a fully-built HTPC running Windows (would prefer Linux, but I wanted Blu Ray support).
All that said...
One of the things I really liked with Boxee was it had out-of-box support for all kinds of Internet content including Hulu, Comedy Central, Youtube, and Netflix. While XBMC doesn't seem to come with that support, there appear to be a ton of scripts to add support for various media--but there seem to be lots of different scripts for the same sites, and its difficult to know what's best.
My Question:
Specifically, at first, I'd like to add support for Hulu, Comedy Central, Netflix, and YouTube. Can you provide your recommendations on what you've seen success with using XBMC?
Thanks!
