You can check your Windows\System32 folder for msvcp71.dll. If it's not there then here is where I downloaded the file from: http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-fi...ml?msvcp71

Does this work for Vista x64? I tried it and still can't see any thumbnails on pictures.

LaTropa64,

If you've copied the msvcp71.dll to your System32 folder, then it could be that you are missing some other dll file(s) that the XBMC Imagelib.dll requires.

First thing would be to enable logging in the XBMC System options and check the log file for errors related to imagelib.dll to see if your issue is the same.

Then use Dependency Walker (http://www.dependencywalker.com/) to check what dll's you may be missing. There is an x64 version of the program. Then open XBMC\System\Imagelib.dll file in Dependency Walker and at the bottom any missing files required by the dll will be listed in red. You'll need to find those files and put them in the System32 folder.

When I ran Dependency Walker it showed some Media Center files missing as well, but I'm not using Vista, so I skipped them and just copied over msvcp71, so you may need other files as well.
