I'm sure i've seen mention of a python vnc viewer script somewher before but all my googling keeps turning up is suggestions for how to run a VNC Server on an Xbox or how to run it on Linux.
Essentially i'd love to see a VNC Viewer that hooked into XBMC (to use its native onscreen dialogs and keyboard) and allow me to get at the "server under the stairs" to do the odd thing without having to either whip out the laptop to vnc from that or actually delving in the darkness!
I might even be tempted to give it ago if someone can point me at someone else's half baked attempt :-)
Edit: here's a control scheme I dreamt up some other time i was musing about this:
Start - Local Options Menu (Log Out, Quit, etc.)
Left + Right Trigger at same time = CTRL+ALT+DEL
Left-Thumb = Mouse axes
A = Left Mouse
B = Right Mouse
Y = Toggle On Screen Keyboard
X = Quick toggle between "Shrink Display to fit screen" (antialiased down and impossible to read text but still usable for quickly getting around) and "1:1 pixel size" (centered on current Mouse Pointer location, scroll when mouse at edges) - if you've used Opera Mini on a mobile/pda you'll understand this way of working.
