hi, today i tried using xbmc to play a dvd

first of all there should be an easier option to play a dvd, so when i click video it would be nice to see an option to play a dvd, at the moment im using the play button

but when i tried playing a dvd, i tried fast forwarding the dvd and it froze, the video would only move when i pressed fast forward button, also if i played the dvd and didnt touch anything it just froze at about 10 seconds into the film

this is not a retail dvd, this is a dvd movie on a sony dvd-r, and the movie was converted using convertxtodvd

how comes this happens with a dvd?

would of been nice to watch a dvd with xbmc, but now i have to use powerdvd to watch dvds
