I checked that the diable HID was unchecked and also tried using a a completly different xml file with HID disabled but in both cases when I go to live tv i get the same remote sensor is not connected errorHmmm... I'm not sure about that one. Like I said, it works fine for me but I am using Vista. Maybe it's an XP thing. You might want to try asking on the eventghost forum.

Zippo2009 Wrote:Hi LaTropa64I'm not using the xbmc plugin in eventghost because it's basically impossible to double up actions on the remote in different areas of xbmc with keymap.xml.
I am doing your tutorial today, and have been scratching my head here.
How do I get the "play" button on my official MCE remote to "play" a movie in XBMC ?
I don't see it listed on the huge dropdown menu of actions, and these actions are for KEYBOARD... not for a remote... so I'm very confused.
how do I get that "play" to work ?
pettergulbra Wrote:And, one problem, if I push up once, it moves twice. What is this?Make sure you haven't mapped anything to the directional buttons with eventghost. As long as you haven't disabled HID, they all work out of the box and so mapping them would cause the commands to double up.
It is possible this happens with other buttons to. is there somthing to do with this?
