[next track] not working or???

Question
Hi everyone!

I installed the latest beta yesterday on the appletv and watched some great stuff on it.
Was really enjoyable to use xbmc again after so long Big Grin

Anyway,
the thing I did not understand yet is that I cannot seem to be able to skip to the next song?
When I press [next] It changed the next song that will play but it won't play it?
This is the case using the apple remote, but also with using the minicontrol buttons.

Is it intended like this or ?

Thanks for the great product!

Should work just fine - anything in the debug log?
Always read the XBMC online-manual, FAQ and search the forum before posting.
Do not e-mail XBMC-Team members directly asking for support. Read/follow the forum rules.

Ok, as it should be ok I'll digg some further and post the logs etc for you here.

I'm sure I'll be messing a bit with it this evening.

just to be sure I explained myself clear,
when I press next now in full screen mode, it changes what song it will play next, but it continues to play the current song.

I use database mode built out of all songs that were available on my apple TV itself synced with iTunes.

ttyl with logs Wink

Here they are, tried with other songs as well but result is the same.

a song is playing and I press [next] on the minicontrols.
Result is the same if I use the appleremote

When I stop the music and then select the same song it does work, this to show the song can play.

ok, so I setup a build environment here on my laptop and after building the app runs fine.
The problem does not appear when running this on the laptop.
When I copy the app over to appletv I see the problem still.
I only copied the xbmc.app

any tips on what I can try next ?
thanks!

posted a trac ticket.

it was due to the x-fade setting, when set you cannot start a new song in any way
