ezar,

i tried your dll. while it is better now with mpg, it still seems a bit choppy.. playback isn't as good as with guybrush's dll.

using mplayer_20040813 from nightfall:
-vob plays jerky/jumpy, like mpg, sound is ok
-dvd also plays jerky/jumpy
-mp4 won't play at all, http://www.baseballcircle.com/abyss.mp4
-the vob crashes most of the time when stopping

mpg 4:3 was 25fps@pal
vob 16:9 29fps@pal60
dvd 4:3 29fps@pal60

using mplayer from savvy.nl:
- mpg/vob/mp4 plays ok
- won't play my dvd, does play the seperate vobs on the dvd though Huh

@charly: thanks!!! you use libmpeg2!!!
ok. i find the error and repair it !!!
i reverted to libmpeg2 0.31 (mplayer 1pre5)... new one 0.40b don't run properly!!! i report it to mplayer

this dll it's build with last mplayer cvs (20040814)
thank you @ all!

you can find in http://www.nightfalltech.com (mplayer_20040814) or save target as this or this

fyi,
the change to ffmpeg12 to set the field flags has been added several months ago.  in my experience ffmpeg12 is now much more reliable than libmpeg2, especially over corrupted mpeg streams (happens in broadcast a lot).

this is the final port!!! all work!!! y submit a update every week with the changes in mplayer cvs and updates for me!!!

best place is the patches tracker on our sf project page. if this won't work for some reason you still can upload it to http://www.xboxmediaplayer.it/upload

ok.
i upload in two days, when:
- test techsmith camtasia (tscc) codec that added today. see more
- solved avi files >2gb. (thanks charly)

----------------------- mplayer question: is libmpeg2 broken?
from looking any mpeg with the updated libmpeg2 4.0 library, i could only say that it doesn't decode/display b-frames. i'm looking over this issue, but i still don't have luck. probably if it is not fixed in few days the update must be reverted!!!!
