Hi.
I need help on how to re-install XBMC Live on my 1TB hard drive without erasing the contents of the media partition. Unfortunately I've been experimenting with getting a serial remote control & have now got to the stage where xbmc will only boot to a login on tty1 screen. Appreciate any advice.Thanks. XBMC rocks!!!!

boot with XBMC Live in "safe mode" form an USB disk, login, mount the system partition on your HDD, remove the file ext3fs.img, shutdown.
If your system will now boot properly from the HDD you can re-enable permanent system storage by recreating the file ext3fs.img. Search the forum for instructions.

Thanks for the help. I've spent over a week searching the forum for this subject, now after searching for - 'recreate ext3fs.img' I find 2 threads on what I'm looking for
