Pardon if I ask something that's been discussed before. I did a forum search and only found something about HDD temperature...
I was wondering if it would be possible to output the S.M.A.R.T. from the HDD into a log file of sorts? I don't need a pretty interface or nothing, just the values so I can evaluate the health of the HDD.
I noticed that the XBMC 9.04 System Info screen contains a Spinup count for the HDD, so I know XBMC can access these values.
Would be much appreciated because I've suddenly been having issues with the HDD and am wondering if it's age related or BIOS related (as in LBA48 issue with 5035 bios).
