[REQUEST] Media Indexer?
#1
Question
Hi all,

I have been looking for a program to index and export all media files on my hard drives to either .html or .txt or some sort of database(prefered). I have 3TB worth of media over 4 Hard drives. What i was wanting is something that can index what is on each hard drive so if one decides to die randomly i know what i have lost off that drive. It would be great if there was a script in XBMC to be able to do that.

Any help would be great!!

Cheers

some apps like Ember Media manager produce html lists of your movies.
I fail to see why you could not use a third party application (if any such exist) instead of wanting your media center to add the unecessarry overhead to itself.
openSUSE 11.2 | SVN XBMC

You can just use a batch script to output all your media filenames to a txt file. Make a google search...
