Hi all,

I am using the XBMC (9.0.4)- mac mini combination for a while now and am very satisfied. BUT I quite often run into hiccups when watching movies. It doesn't matter if it is a 700 mb avi, a DVD-5, a DVD-9 or a (full) HD movie, all of them have them same issue. Whenever the camera moves from left to right (of right to left) I see hiccups. Whenever the camera stays in the same position and the actors are moving from left to right, I see no problem.

I tried almost every one of the settings, but each one had the same result. What can be the problem here? I also see people uploaden log files, but where can I find those?

Hope you can help.
BTW - I have 37 inch Sony W550 LCD tv. and a new 2ghz mac mini (2gb mem) and I use both inernal drive as well as a external drive.

It sounds like Vsync. I had that problem with XBMC on my mac-mini at first. Turn it on.

Here it is:
settings -> appearance -> screen -> vertical blank sync

I never touched that setting, but it seems to work just fine as far as I can tell (by doing a simple test)!
