Why is there no cover flow in library mode?
#1
Hello,

I'm new to XBMC and I tried it for music first. All my music is tagged properly: *every* album has got a cover.jpg in the folder; every single file has got a cover embedded in the id3 tag as well.

And yet, when I enable library mode, I can't access cover flow anymore...

Why is that? Is it not possible to use library mode with cover flow? Why not?

This is confusing...I see no reason why it shouldn't work.

Thanks for help guys! Rolleyes

No. There's full list, list, thumbnail. But no cover flow. Well, not in library mode.

There is cover flow in non-library mode but it's useless, I guess due to my file structure?

Does that mean I will have to change my file dirs? That would be way too much work.

It looks like this: /moods/artist/album/files

Example: http://img406.imageshack.us/img406/5693/77694871.png

The skin is called PM3.HD.

Cover flow in non-library mode is useless because I can't browse all albums by covers but only one folder at a time. And there is no cover flow option in library mode to be found anywhere...

Am I missing something? Huh

Had a look and indeed you have only cover flow in music library using albums. And that's the one I did check.Laugh

Change skin code or use another skin. !!

Check out Transparency, that skin supports coverflow in more categories.Nod

I have no idea what you mean, but even when I click on albums in the library mode I've got no cover flow.

Guess I'll try that other skin. Thanks!
