After several days of work i finally got xbmc working with my remote, mythtv and vdpau.
Now the day after I boot it everthing seems fine and it the point xbmc should show up the screen stays black.

My system seems to run fine, because I can ssh to the pc.

Does anybody have an idea what could be wrong or which logfiles I maybe should have a look at?

I would be really thankful for tips and hope I dont have to set everything up from the beginning again.

I think I solved it by dpkg-reconfigure all xbmc components.

Dont know which one exactly was the problem.
