DVD rips don't play anymore
#1
Hi guys, somehow my DVD ripps don't play anymore. DVD discs and avi/mkv etc still work though. I searched the forums but haven't found a solution yet.

Here's my system information:
OS: WinXP 32 2002 SP3
CPU: Phenom X3 8650 (2.3Ghz)
Ram: 3Gigs (800Mhz i think)
GPU: HD3200 (integrated with 512Megs of ram) Catalyst 8.60
Sound: HD3200 HDMI passthrough
XBMC Version: XBMCSetup-Rev21930.exe (just did a complete uninstall and reinstalled this version)

Movie file structure: (the way i have all my movies organized)
D:\Movies\{Movie Name} ({Year})\VTS_01_0.NFO
D:\Movies\{Movie Name} ({Year})\VTS_01_0.IFO
D:\Movies\{Movie Name} ({Year})\VTS_01_0.VOB
...

Problem description:
When I browse movies in Library view, ripped DVDs don't start playing. It seems that it's trying to play the *.ifo file rather than the *.vob.
If I'm in File view (not library), clicking on the *.vob files work as expected.
This used to be fine, I must have changed something, but I don't know...

Here's my log:

Any thoughts on what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks,

To start playing a dvd you DO start the ifo file. Thats why its trying to start that file.

Ok, so the problem doesnt' come from that. Nonetheless, it's still there ;-)

I've of course double check that it was indeed looking at the right file path. When I copy paste the file path in explorer, it finds the file right away.

Any suggestions?

I've waited 6 days before bumping this thread, i hope it's ok.

Can anyone help? XBMC has basically become useless at this point and I can't find a solution of my own.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
