hi
I want to run xbmc under debian lenny (and shrink it as much as possible) but when i want to start xbmc it says

not found (required by /usr/share/xbmc/xbmc.bin
i have installed all dependencies.
any ideas ?


core 2 duo 1800 mhz
2 gb ram
8800 GTS nvidia
p35 chipset
i686
2.6.26-2-686 kernel
xbmc 9.04-1 jaunty
i have downloaded 3 packages from ppa launchpad xbmc-web-pm3 xbmc-skin-pm3-hd xbmc-common and xbmc. unpacked it manually by dpkg -x.

Ok...thread location wasn't really what I was on about in the other thread, but it's closed all the same. Please read that sticky again and provide all of the information it requests.

the problem was in too old debian packages in lenny. using squeeze now.
