hello!
i've a problem reading the ext4 usb mass hard drive.
what could be the problem?
i'm not able even to see it in the file explorer of xbmc.

my o.s. is linux mint.

A debug log would be a good place to start:

Also, is the hard drive mounted through fstab or through the OS? I'm not sure how much of mounting XBMC is supposed to handle.

Also try starting xbmc with --standalone.
