Music fanart

Question
How do I make the fanart for a music artist show when I browse that artist?

My structure is as follow (using U2 as example):
Code:
- Music
    |_ Albums
         |_ ...
         |_ U2
         |   |_ fanart.jpg
         |   |_ U2 - Joshua Tree
         |   |_ ...
         |_ ...

I thought that the fanart would show for the artist when I go into Music -> Library -> Artists -> U2. Isn't that correct?
If not, what is the fanart supposed to do? I just read what is written here: http://www.xbmc.org/wiki/?title=FanArt

Also, is it possible to show the fanart as visualization when playing music? E.g. if I play a U2 song, that fanart is shown.

I'm having the same problem. Is Music fanart supported by this skin?
Where should we put the fanart.jpg file?

Artist fanart only works in Library mode, if your using file mode it doesn't work. Some other skins such as Transparancy have it working in file mode too although not sure how!

It's library mode I am trying with, but it doesn't work. What does your folder structure look like (see my original post)?

I think your file structure shuould be %Artist%\%Album%\fanart.jpg

Yours looks to be %Album%\%Artist%\fanart.jpg.... unless I'm reading it wrong which is entirely possible as I have a man cold and therefore mere hours to live.

It works very well in Library mode. My file structure is as follows:-

Artist\fanart.jpg
Artist\Album\folder.jpg
Artist\Album\Track01.mp3
Artist\Album\Track02.mp3.... etc.
This is the result in Rapier.

I have at times, had to re-scrape the artist information to get things to show up but it does work. Smile
