USB drive not appearing

I've tried fresh xbmc-live install (just to be sure it's not a problem on my side) and once I updated to SVN xbmc USB drives stopped mounting.
Problem is definitely linux version related, because mounting in Windows works just fine.

Thx, latest SVN isn't suggested for now, but I'll look into it!

Hello Same problem here!

i update using this tutorial

and it doesn´t mount the usb hard disks and i am experience a lot of problems

what should i do?

i just want a version that allows me to see the apple trailers cause version the comes with the live cd doesn´t allow the installation of that plugin

please help

Which is the most recent version, reconmmended one, that we should downgrade to, in order to get rid of the problem with usb automount?

Stable... We never recomend or support anything besides stable, if you want to go outside of that your on your own

Having the same issues here. Had to downgrade to 22278 to get the usb working again.

Hi,

I have same problem with XBMC Live installed on HDD.
My mainboard is a Zotac ION.

I updated to SVN 23588 today. But does not help.

Fixed in latest SVN.

And for those of you that don't want to upgrade but experience this, please add the following to advancedsettings.xml

<usehalmount>true</usehalmount>

Hehe, we are cranky at times but deep down we care for our users Wink

Glad to hear that it's verified working.

Next SVN PPA should have the fixes so the advanced settings shouldn't be needed.

The problem remains on XBMC live i try the new svn

i also make the file put it on the right place but unfortunately it didn´t work Sad
