I have some movies like Alien 1,NORDIC,PAL,DVDR.img that isnt in the list of my movies. Any idea why? I dont know how to trace the logs for scanning issues, didnt find any when i looked...

I have around 1,6 TB of movies and i dont want to sit down and check for each movie that i have they are all in under "Movies". The folder that has them is called Alien - 4 DVDs and they are all under there.

does all movies need their own folder? Or does it have to be a "scene release" to be found at all?

First, which scraper are you using? Default themoviedb.com?

Also, it might help to set "clean up file names" to true in your settings. I think I started getting better results after that.


No.. movies don't need to be in a seperate folder. Half mine are and half aren't.

Navigate to your movie (in video) and select "movie information" from the options and "refresh". This will show you which scraper is being used. If it dosne't come up with anything it will give you the option to change the file name and try again. If that works, you know what the problem is.
