This is the same hardware I was using with the old live 9.04 and it worked great. I decided to try a usb live version of the latest beta 2 and all my audio is about 1/4 what it was. I check with the remote and the volume is turned all the way up and these are the same files I was using before.
I couldnt find an audio adjustment in the settings, is there a config file I need to find and edit to get the old audio levels back?
Nevermind, I found a partial soution here : http://forum.xbmc.org/showpost.php?p=246080&postcount=2
except I had to use WinSCP to log in, then putty to get to alsamixer
