Hi! I currently have all my Movies (with thumb, nfo, subs, etc) in a single directory. Recently somebody pointed out that that could be a less than ideal organization.

Fine. I'd like to be as compliant as possible with what XBMC works best with.

The problems is that, if at all possible, I'd avoid doing all this by hand. Is scripting possible for the task at hand? Any "script wizard" that could point me in the right direction? Or a program that could do it for me?

i wrote a .sh script in this forum, at some point, some other guy wrote a .bat in the same thread. search.
