More like a question and a problem, actually:

First, is it possible to have the music item in the main menu take me directly to the Artists view, instead of having to choose between Artists, Albums, Songs, etc?

And second, i seem to have a tagging problem, since XBMC sees the same artist as three different artists with subtle differences in spelling, even though iTunes sees all those songs as the same artist.

I assume this is because XBMC is reading a different ID3 tag version than iTunes, but i don't know what ID3 version XBMC works with.. any ideas?

1. Context menu -> Set as default on the appropriate item. Also, in confluence, just move right off the Music item.

2. XBMC reads all ID3 tag versions. Use something like foobar2000 to read and correct them.
