hi,

i wish xbmc could play external .zds subtitles with dvds movies. those kind of subtitles can be used with the software dvdsubber on a pc. it is very useful for example in the case where you have imported a lot of r2 dvd from a japanese anime series, and found the matching english scripts tranlated from the japanese language for those dvds; some fansites are dedicated for writing and sharing those kind of subtitles in .zds files on the net.

wouldnt it be alot easier if you converted this obscure sub-format into something we do support

well then the pblm i think would be that xbmc doesn't support yet the playing of external files sub (whatever their format is) in real time with original dvds in the xbox drive...
