xbmc and tv cards
#1
Hi guys, i've been using xbmc for years now, first with the xbox, and now with my pc, and its brilliant, just need to get the ' I ' button on the remote sorted out......ok my question, i want to make xbmc my main entertainment centre, already i have all my moveis and music etc sorted with xbmc , and its great...however, i would love to have a DVB-S and a DVB-T card in the computer and get rid of two boxes under the Tv.

So, if i was to get 2 pc-i cards for the computer, would they be watchable using xbmc or do i need to exit xbmc in order to watch them?

If this was possible it would be brilliant..am in the UK too.
Thanks for the replys guys

Do a bit of searching. At present there is a branch working to support tv tuner playback through non-XBMC software backends (e.g. MythTV, but to my knowledge there is currently no one working on doing the same through a windows backend such as the MP TV Server or Windows MCE.
