i am new to this program so please bear with me.i was given a old version for my pc a few months ago.it works ok however it has none of the bling i see in the skins and all.i have reinstalled program a dozen times from trying differant skins.can someone point me in the right direction to get everything going .?also does this program record or just fine elsewhere when wanted? thanks excuse a noob--- also --is there a full --complete setup with all the fancy stuff installed out there to download for windows7

If you have an old version, then you need to get a newer version.
And also do some reading in this forum, just like everyone else had to do. There are plenty of tutorials posted to help in setting XBMC up on your PC.
It is a media MANAGER, it doesn't record or download content, it manages what you already have stored on your harddrive, and can find infos, fanart, etc for your movies.
