Nmedia LCD Module lis.so not working
#1
So after many hours of banging my head against the keyboard I am now asking for suggestions. I have a Nmedia LCD Module. http://ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=3...a%20System

After installing lcdproc and adjusting the LCDd.conf file it still does not work. Logs were screaming about no driver found. I can't seem to find lis.so driver anywhere.

Has anyone else got this to work? if so how?

Sure, I went through that. I've got the same one.

The lis.so driver is not included in the current release version of lcdproc. You need to go on their site and download the source, for 0.53 or newer which includes that driver, and compile and install.

http://lcdproc.sourceforge.net/nightly/ is a good place to get it. The 'stable' branch is new enough.

Hopefully that will get you unstuck. Chew on that for awhile, and come back here if you need more help.

After being busy with new venture I now have time to continue working on my home theater. I followed your suggestion but still no luck. I have even tried a few other posts but no luck. Any more help would be appreciated.

Thank you
