2nd HDD through xbmcbuntu
#1
I am mostly a command line noob in linux. I have been able to get xbmc installed and working great using the xci script on my ION. I am wondering what I need to do in order to point xbmc to my 2nd hdd (ntfs) to view my media? i thinking I might just need to mount my 2nd drive in my home folder, but Im not quite sure. I am able to ssh/sftp to the box to run commands but just not quite sure what I need to run to get this done.

Well just thought I would post this here in case someone else needed it. The reason I was having this problem is that the 2nd hard drive was a dynamic disk (read SFS in ubuntu) and not a basic disk. To fix this I put the HDD back into my windows machine and installed TestDisk (found information here: mypkb.wordpress.com)

After using this tool I mounted the disk back in my XBMCbuntu machine. I then had to update grub by removing the "nodiskmount" command and change "Grub_Default=0" to "Grub_Default=4". Finally my hard drive showed up in the add source list.
