Hey folks.... noob alert!
had xbmc running sweet under karmic. Did a clean install to Lucid last weekend.
Then found no stable xbmc....... noob error no.1!
felt like losing my right arm!
Been playing about with stuff for a while and now have xbmc running, but with the following issues and I am not sure whether I am running the new stable release for Lucid or the svn.
I am running on a Revo 3600 with 3gb Ram (had couple of gig lying about so thought why not.) raised vid memory to 512 in the bios. Running over HDMI to a 46" panny and have done the stuff in the sticky thread about perfecting playback and have lovely smooth 1080p mkv playback running.
However when i go into videos fromt eh home screen, I was expecting to have to add source, and navigate to my external hdd as I did with my previous karmic install, but forsome reason, my external driveis already there. If I go to my TV Shows folder and set content and do a scan, it finds next to nothing. Movies seem fine, although some keep dropping outof the library.
Please help, I just want it running like it was, but on Lucid.
Cheers
