I've installed XBMC because I thought I'd be able to control it from my new Sony Blu-Ray player, which does have a way to locate media servers on my LAN. But, it doesn't find XBMC. Have left something out? Or , am I under a mis-impression as to what it could do for me? I'm using OS x 10.6.4.

Hah! Great question. I can't find anything that says yes. The manual says "DLNA certified for wireless streaming of photos, videos & music." Are there other kinds of DLNA devices that it would connect to? The manual is what I'd call short of detailed information.
