30hz vs 60hz for automatic refresh rate
#1
When XBMC is configured to automatically adjust the refresh rate of the display to match the source frame rate, it apparently chooses the highest available refresh rate that is a multiple of the source frame rate, by design. For example, if 30fps source content is used and the display supports both 30hz and 60hz, XBMC will choose 60hz.

Is there any way I can force it to pick the exact match refresh rate, perhaps by forbidding XBMC to use 1080p60? My TV performs better with 30fps content at 30hz than it does at 60hz, since it seems to disable most of the image processing at 60hz, presuming the source is a game console. The most annoying side effect of this is that my required audio offset to get lip sync is different for 24fps vs 30fps content, since it's disabling the image processing in 30fps but not in 24fps.

It can only be done by hacking the code.
