Online help (and manual) built-into XBMC and its skins

No, it's not configurable at all. The basic controls are:

Left click is select.
Right click on a list item is the context menu.
Right click on a blank area is back.
Mouse wheel is up/down within lists, scrollbars, spinners etc.
Move the mouse to popup the video OSD.
Left click pauses video/music.
Right click exits fullscreen video/visualisation.
Left click on a video control (eg video overlay) takes you to fullscreen. Right click takes you to the now playing list.

That's about it I think?

Cheers,
Jonathan

Yes, if it's unused? (my mouse has back/forward keys... but I have no idea if it's more difficult to implement)

We have 5 buttons available - not sure whether they're the same as are on your mouse. left/right/middle/extra1/extra2.

I'll map parentdir to middle click and we'll see how it goes.

Jonathan

And are the rest mapped at all?
(if not, why not map them to let's say parentdir and info and we take it from there?)

I'd prefer to work on a more configurable thing later on to be honest - anything added in a hardcoded way would just be one more thing to remove at a later date Wink

Keymapping can be found in keymap.xml in the system folder.

jmarshall will have to answer on global mouse (is it configurable at all, how many buttons are supported?)

Sho work is progressing slowly Wink could you take a look at the controls section - "keyboard and mouse"
I have filled out everything, there might be some bugs. Also i see that filemanager has it own entry, but i cant find that this window has any special keyboard or mouse controls in the keymap.xml ?

Also please advice what you think need more work, what sections etc etc. i dive into them whenever i can. Smile
