Lbrary Scanning
#1
I just updated to the latest SVN. Scanning my Movies directory looks up my movies using the folder name Movies, it never used to do this. I had to disable use folder names for lookups - which means some movies wont scan in.

The TV shows are not scanning at all (here is a sample of that):

Debug log doing a scan - with out it no one can help.

I'm confused by this too:

If you have use folder names for lookups set it uses them. If you disable it it wont, it will use the file names, which are typically less reliable.

That snippet was with the debug log on, I selected series and asked for a scan, it did nothing - so that's all I got.

As for the movies issues, I can always get a log of that, but for the moment I have disabled using folders.

My Structure:
\\mediaserver\Movie\moviefolder\moviefile1.avi
or
\\mediaserver\Movie\moviename.avi

Previously I would select, \\mediaserver\Movie\ as my Movie location, and set content to Movies. It would go in and scan both folders and files - now with previous settings, it always wants to call my moviename.avi Movie - as if taking the parent directory.

I have no idea what changed.

If you're mixing content you might want to check the recursive option. Do NOT check the foldernames option.
With this layout, you'll have to make sure you have sane filenames and/or you're using .nfo files for your movies.

EDIT: Don't forget about the debug log as said before by prae5.
