I have XBMC Live 9.11 installed and I have problem with system maintaining wireless connection. Basically, when I am trying to download something, it goes fine for a few MBs and then stops. When I run iwconfig I see that Access Point is not-associated. When I execute:
Connection is back to normal.
Things I already tried:
1. Downgraded security on the network (currently running only WEP encryption)
2. Disabled IPv6
3. Installed:
linux-backports-modules-karmic
linux-backports-modules-wireless-karmic-generic
4. Disabled ethernet in /etc/network/interfaces
I have Zotac Atom motherboard with built-in wireless card.
I need help as have no idea what to do next.
Code:
sudo /etc/init.d/networking restart
