??? AppleTV, XBMC, Harmony One ???

Question
First let me say that I am very new to this and I thank all of you for your help.

I have become aware that there is a menu that I should be able to access while playing a movie in XBMC that will allow me to select audio track and subtitles.

My Harmony One is set to mimic an apple remote.

When I hold menu during a movie, nothing happens.
Pressing takes me back to the menu.

Various threads here talk about changing the keymap file or adding a joystick or something like that but I have NO idea how to even start that. I have almost no experience in using the terminal.

Is there an easy way to make this work?

Aside from this missing menu everything works great.

Thanks!

Just to make it clear...

Holding Menu works to produce a context menu elsewhere with the current settings.

Thanks!

You need to press and HOLD the PLAY/PAUSE for 2 seconds which will bring up a transport key window and submenus for audio/subtitle selection as well as video adjustment functions when you are playing back a video.

I tried that and it just pauses the show/movie....

I'm using Mediastream. It looks really nice on my TV.

Yes I also have settled on Mediastream.

It is one of the best 10ft. media center interfaces I have ever seen and I am even talking about when comparing with systems costing thousands. (I had the misfortune of being an Escient dealer and went through the whole VISION series debacle)

That is the only way I am aware of. Are you sure you are holding it long enough? It works the same way like when you are using MENU for other functions.

It needs a continuous hold until you see the menu pop up.

If I press too long then I put the AppleTV to sleep.

Huh?

Sorry, I am not familiar with the Harmony setup when it comes to AppleTV.

I simply plugged the AppleTV codes into a URC remote and it works that way for me.

This is what I see when I press/hold play.

I programmed the harmony to mimic the Apple remote.
This seems to be the only function I can't access.

I am still an ATV/XBMC newbie myself.

I am actually using Mediastream REDUX MOD.

I figured out how to edit the keymap.
It wasn't hard to do.

Now when I hold Center (enter) i get the OSD!!

Thanks!
