Hi

I have tried to install XBMC on my HP Media Smart server. Its running windows home server.
The server does not have a sound card installed.
The installation seems to go fine, but when I try to startup the server I see an error in the event viewer and tried to make a crash file.
The crash file fail until I created the directory i needed to store the file in.

I don't know how to read the dmp file.

Any help appreciated.

As well as no sound card it also doesn't have graphics hardware capable of running XBMC.

It shouldn't be much of a surprise that it doesn't work :p

I was hoping tu use it as a upnp server.

But guess that isn't a option then.

There are better pieces of software if you simply want a UPNP server. Google TVersity or PS3 Media Server.
