I have a ION box with the last final running on it.
I used to see the above error in my logs accompanied by a did not comsume packet error. I seem to have shed that problem but I still see this one from time to time usually with a frame skip (no drop frame is reported)
I've tried turning off VDPAU and still see it and this is on an ion platform with normal resolution files so I dont think I'm overtaxing the box. The video is a home converted DVD as H264 video in an MKV container.
Now I'd obviously love to fix this but I'd also love to know what does it mean?
The system is getting video from a server via SMB running on an ubuntu 9.10 box via wired 100 mbps ethernet.
Is it worth posting a pastebin log for this or is this something that will be resolved in Dharma (I've only tested that on windows 7 - excellent for progressive but the lack of bob deinterlacing means I'll be staying with the linux version - especially since I'm a mythtv user too).
