I was curious if these kind of mkv HD 720 rips will stream well over 802.11g without any stuttering? The filesize ranges from 1.5gb to 2.5gb.

I am using ATV OS 3.0.2 and XBMC 9.11. I have tried 720p files before and it stutters but this was awhile ago and i dont remember if the file i played was 6gb or what.

Also does the latest dharma beta have any optimization for the appletv?

720p over 802.11g, depends on how many remote phones and microwaves you have in you house and where they are located in respect to your access point and atv. I can do it fine but my access point is three feet away from my chair.
