I was wondering if anything in the new script.favourites file that you had me download could have broken the smart playlist editor, to where it does not open anymore. My smart playlist editor would not open after I installed this file although it fixed the autoplay problem I was having. So, is there anything that could have broken the editor in script.favourites?

nope. check your Debug Log if there's any clues why it won't open.
