what needs to be modified to add a viewtype to a skin. tried renaming to an existing viewtype but skin doens't load it.

Depends hugely on the skin as no 2 are coded the same

merging viewtypes is not that easy. you´ll probably have to change some ids, add some includes from other files and also add some textures to your media folder. you´d have to be more specific.
