No cursor in sound options during playback
#1
Hi,

I just updated my xbmc to RC1 on my ubuntu maverick.

When I play a video with dolby sound, i have no cursor in the sound options so I cannot change language or use subtitles.

I have tried a video with mp3 sound and it works.

Here is my log file:

Same here Shocked

Ubunutu 10.04 64bit, 4GB, AMD X2 3GHz, NVidia with VDPAU onboard (9400).

The debug log doesn't show anything while activating the options dialog.

EDIT:
It seems to be a problem of the Project Mayhem. With Confluence it works (... but I don't like this many-coloured skin Wink).

I use Aeon skin but I confirm, it works with confluence.

Same problem here with BackRow skin.

With Avi files using MP3 it works, but when playing MKV files with AC3 it doesn't.
Since RC1 I cannot change sound options anymore :confused2:

Should we wait for new skin versions?

For the time being, I use my keyboard to change language or subtitles. I hope a new skin version will fix this issue.

Same issue with Aeon plus I am unable to move the options with the keyboard.
Reverted to B4 in the meantime.

EDIT >> By the way, it is not a Linux limited issue : I am running Win7, found this thread by searching Wink

no sweat spiff, it's a skin bug: http://forum.xbmc.org/showpost.php?p=649...stcount=17

it's been there for a long time and your recent commit to 'really' disable the volume control brought it to light.

i'm sure it's present in many skins, as we all start out by copying Jezz_X's code. :-)

Quote:well...hmmm....i suppose it makes little sense to put the default focus on the heading label in VideoOSDSettings.xml, right? ;-)

fix:
<defaultcontrol>5</defaultcontrol>

Where can I find VideoOSDSettings.xml?
