After struggling with the Boxee Box and the current state I have decided to build a HTPC running XBMC. I have narrowed my choices down to 2 and would like some feedback/suggestion on which one to buy. I will be primarily watching 720p/1080p MKV files, listening to local FLAC files, and internet radio.

those are good choices if you wanted a self contained box.....i picked up a refurb revo 1600 because it was cheap and thats all i had the cash for then
but it has allowed me to get my feet wet with XBMC and currently does what i need it to do

but if you have a little more cash then I would build your own box....which i eventually plan to do once i get my media server up...lol

but building your own would allow you the option to upgrade your gpu later when needed or as poofy has already done to allow playback of 3d files
WE ALL WE GOT

But after searching like crazy, i conclude that,

buy this model if you want an already built system:
ZOTAC MAG HD-ND01 ~$276 USD

or

buy this model if you plan to add yourself the OS / HDD / RAM:
ZOTAC ZBOX HD-iD11 ~$212.76 USD
