I made the post below in the help section and it looks like it can't be done right now so I'll add it as a feature request.
Make XBMC rewind a few seconds when you resume a video. I do notice I lose a few seconds when resuming and it would be nice to remind myself and not join something mid-sentence.
I have a small step back button enabled for 10 seconds but I would prefer not to think about it and just press play.
